This weeks course on our mission to review every golf course in Australia is:
Walking onto the first tee you're greeted by a short par 3, to your right is the very short par 3 9th hole and just past the green is the new Westgate tunnel road.
You'd be forgiven for thinking that this is a short pitch and putt course, but once you walk under the road to the back side of the course you soon realise that it's a full-length course.
There are no par 5s on the course but if you're a bomber of the ball don't let that put you off, there are several drivable par 4's to keep the long hitters interested.
You play pretty much up and back for the first few holes, until you reach the fascinating 5th hole, a 168-meter par 3 doesn't sound too fascinating on paper, but once you get to the tee you realise that it's a sharp dogleg to the right with a blind tee shot (pictured below).
We love to see golf courses try different things and this is certainly that, you must hit over the corner if you want to go at the green, but be careful, if you go too far right there's a kid's playground over the fence!
The eighth hole is one of the best on the course, it's got the creek running in front of it, train tracks down the left and trees to the right making for a really challenging tee shot, if you can safely find the fairway then par or better is on offer.
As mentioned earlier the last hole is a very short 84-meter par 3 with a relatively flat green, it's not a great way to finish what is otherwise a really enjoyable course, it's fantastic value at $22 for nine holes, make sure you give it a try, don't let the council turn another golf course into real estate.
