The Albert Park Golf Club:

If you're familiar with the Australian F1 Grand Prix then you'll know the surroundings of this golf course, the Albert Park Golf Course is as close as it gets to the Melbourne CBD and right next to the beautiful Albert Park Lake, make sure you take the time to do a lap of the lake, not only are the views spectacular the road is in immaculate condition.

The Albert Park Golf Course is a great course to play all year round, in the winter months it can be a bit heavy under foot but the greens hold up exceptionally well

Its not a long golf course by any stretch, some of the holes are drivable, the 14th and the 16 spring to mind if you're a bomber of the ball and you're looking to pick up some shots a well placed drive can make for an easy birdie, but go wayward and you'll find your golf ball bouncing down Queens Road.

With three par 5's on the front nine there are plenty of opportunities to put a score on the board early, just make sure you're not distracted by the beautiful Albert Park Lake nearby and the equally beautiful people running around it.

Albert Park Golf Course is a truly unique experience in Melbourne with the buildings towering over the course, you may find yourself getting a little nervous when you realise how many people are watching you through the windows

There are quite a few dog legs around the course so make sure you pick the right club, and keep an eye out for the tree in the middle of the fairway!

If you're a golf lover and your in Melbourne for any reason then you've got no excuse not to get our here for a round, the location is amazing, the value is fantastic and the course is a lot of fun.
